Italian Ministries USA representing Italian Ministries International and
Italian Ministries in Italy (IM).
Italian Ministries USA is a growing field-based network of likeminded missionaries in and from Italy. Legally constituted in 1998 (initially as FEMI and Italian Ministries as of 2007), the aims are:
 A) To do all that is possible to facilitate the spread of the Gospel in Italy.
B) To provide support structures to assist missions to and from Italy.
C) To facilitate the developing of a vision for mission in Italian Evangelical churches.
Italian Ministries USA is particularly committed to facilitating fellowship, communication and collaboration between those involved in missions and to creating the opportunity for Italian missionaries to have their own identity within a mission structure based and operated within Italy.
It is an important project in the light of several factors:
- Up to 90% of foreign missionaries leave within the first term of service;
- Few Italians are actually involved in missions.
On-site accountability, pastoral care, consultation and practical assistance are often not readily available. The missionary in Italy is often not able to benefit from these and a whole spectrum of other services.
